Four households, all alike in dignity,
In Palais Leone, where we lay our scene,
From ancient grudge break to new mutiny,
Where civil blood makes civil hands unclean.
An Emperor's word has summoned every name,
By papal seal these prideful hearts must bend,
One cardinal alone shall hold the flame
That both unites them, and may yet unmend.
Lucrezia's hand becomes the prize they seek,
Caterina's steel remembers unhealed wounds,
Isabella measures rivals with a cold critique,
And Medici gold moves quiet through the rooms.
Three nights within one villa, hearts confined,
Come see what fragile peace such hands may find.

The year is 1501. The Borgia, Sforza, Este, and Medici families have spent generations locked in shifting wars and truces, while France and Spain press in from the borders and the sea. The Holy Roman Emperor, charged by the Pope with binding the peninsula together before it tears itself apart, calls a private convocation. He sends one cardinal, loyal to no house, to broker the marriages, betrothals, and alliances that might hold Italy together.
Sixty players. Four Houses. Three days. Two marriage prizes. One accord that will reward a family with generational wealth, control, and influence.

2. I don't know anything about the Renaissance. Can I still play? A: YES! You will receive all of the information that you need to have a fantastic adventure. You don't need to be a scholar or even vaguely aware of the timeline. We'll make sure that you don't drown in historical details.
3. I'm not a costumer. How can I come up with a costume? A: If you're not into creating a costume, we are fine if you buy it. We don't even care if you drop $25 on a polyester costume from Temu. We will give you guidelines for basic costuming.
4. What if I dislike the character I've been given? A: You will have a chance to switch it up with available characters. The closer we get to game time, the fewer characters will be available, so please contact us ASAP if you want to change.
5. If I need to cancel, will I get a refund? A: The $200 deposit is non-refundable. This is because we need to meet our contractual obligations with the venue, the hotel, insurance, etc. If WE need to cancel for any reason, you will of course receive a full refund.
